Ananda Rajagopal is a customer-focused product executive specializing in cloud, cybersecurity and analytics and the art of product management—connecting unmet market problems with innovation that builds high-growth, profitable businesses. Ananda has successfully combined his product management rigor with technical depth, market insights, strong business acumen, sales enablement skillsets and execution discipline to create new product lines and scale emerging businesses that have generated >$3B in cumulative profitable bookings under his stewardship.

At present, Ananda is Vice President of Product Management at Gigamon, the acknowledged market share leader in the fast-growing category of network visibility. At Gigamon, Ananda is responsible for global product management, leading a world-class portfolio that emphasizes visibility into information in motion. Whether that information is in the network, cloud or IoT, the right visibility enables organizations to gain better security, mobility and agility. Prior to Gigamon, Ananda was Vice President of Product Management and Strategy for the Data Center Routing business, where he oversaw a business that generated over $1.2B in cumulative revenues, driving strategic initiatives and execution in the areas of software-defined networking, real-time analytics, and high-performance cloud-optimized infrastructure. He joined Brocade through the acquisition of Foundry Networks.

Between 1998 and 2005, Ananda led engineering and pre-sales engineering execution at the Broadband business unit in Lucent Technologies (previously Ascend Communications) where he was responsible for introducing key innovations such as the world’s first large-scale commercial deployment of IPTV over broadband. Prior to Ascend, he led execution of turnkey projects at Wipro, a global technology consulting firm for key clients such as Cisco (Stratacom), where he was instrumental in developing the Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA) standard as well as the industry’s first commercial offering.
